The Global Brain First Initiative

81,000 Brains : 8.1 Billion Lives

The world faces a Brain Network Imperative.

Decisions shaping nations, markets, conflict, the environment, and civilisation itself are increasingly influenced by neural patterns operating largely outside conscious awareness within a relatively small number of influential brains.

Yet we routinely assess financial health, physical health, and organisational health while largely overlooking the organ behind every consequential decision—the human brain.

As AI, and the prospect of AGI, redefine what machines can do, the defining question for humanity is no longer just how intelligent our technologies become—but how wise, resilient, and self-aware the human brains guiding them remain.

It is time for politicians, CEOs, investors, bankers, journalists, influencers, scientists, and other leaders shaping public opinion and policy to recognise that their brain health is no longer merely personal—it is a civilisational responsibility.

The Global Brain First Initiative calls for a new era of cognitive responsibility: objectively understanding, assessing, and strengthening the brains behind humanity's most consequential decisions.

The ambition is simple yet profound. 81,000 Brains : 8.1 Billion Lives

To inspire and equip 81,000 of the world's most influential decision-makers and changemakers to recognise that their brain is not merely personal—it is a responsibility to the people, organisations, communities and nations they influence—and to better understand, assess, and optimise the brain patterns behind decisions that shape the lives of 8.1 billion people.

Because the future of civilisation will ultimately be shaped by the brains behind humanity's greatest opportunities—and its greatest risks.

The Global Brain First Initiative was launched at VivaTech 2026 in Paris, headlined by the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, and the President of France, HE Emmanuel Macron. A proud moment saw Union Minister Shri Piyush Goyal and Principal Scientific Adviser Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood with the initiative.
