NEUROLEAP AND IIT PALAKKAD SIGN MoU FOR BRAIN COMPUTER INTERFACE TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH
Neuroleap, India’s leading applied neuroscience company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad to promote research in Brain Computer Interface (BCI) technology for neuroenhancement and neurorehabilitation. NeuroLeap leverages the world’s most advanced BCI technology to understand the human brain and help it perform at optimum potential without using any medication in a non-invasive approach with zero side effects.
“NeuroLeap is the leading company in India offering advanced neurotechnology based brain assessment and improvement. BCI based neuroenhancement is an area of aggressive research in top Universities in USA, Europe and Singapore, but relatively new in India. The partnership will leverage from IIT Palakkad’s research expertise in BCI technology and Neuroleap’s expertise in applied neuroscience as well as state-of-the-art neuro-training facilities” said Prof. Vinod Prasad, Dean Industry Collaboration & Sponsored Research, IIT Palakkad.
At its centres at Mumbai and New Delhi, Neuroleap offers a unique tech based brain function assessment and has successfully delivered neuroenhancement for conditions such as Anxiety, Depression, Insomnia, Migraine, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder - ADHD, Dyslexia, ADD, Autism, age-related neurological declines, Stroke & traumatic brain injury. “This is the new age of mental health & brain enhancement which is tech based and not captive to medication. The MoU with IIT Palakkad will enable undertaking joint research projects and provide opportunity to IIT Palakkad researchers for brain signal acquisition and analysis in Neuroleap’s centres whilst employing novel BCI-based neurofeedback techniques for enhancing cognitive and motor skills of individuals.
